Energy Saving and Environmental Protection

Low Carbon Strategy 

Including the optimization of energy efficiency and the installation of solar panels on factory roofs, the installation of solar panels was completed at the end of FY105 at the Pinghu plant in China, and the Yanshao plant in Taiwan has invested approximately NT$92 million in the installation of solar panels. In the factory area, we have replaced all power-saving light bulbs and halved the number of lighting tubes in corridors and areas with fewer workers. For energy saving and carbon reduction, we started to install photovoltaic equipment in FY105 and began to use it in FY106, and we have gradually phased out some of the high-energy-consumption motors, with FY112 targeting a 5% reduction in energy consumption.  

Foot recycling 

The company developed the hot air hot pressing non-woven foot trimmings can be recycled after processing through the recycling system, without affecting the quality of the product, not only to optimize the use of resources, but also to enhance the gross profit margin of the product.

Waste Reduction 

In order to reduce the use of non-renewable resources and optimize the use of resources and energy, we try to limit the generation of waste to the greatest extent possible when designing our products, and we continue to research and develop and adjust our product manufacturing processes to reduce the rate of wear and tear and minimize the generation of waste. In terms of waste, we will reduce the use of non-renewable resources, optimize the use of resources and energy, and reduce the amount of waste generated by sorting out recyclable materials as much as possible, with a goal of reducing waste by 10% in FY112.

Recycling of waste pallets for repair and reuse 

Pallets in the warehouse that are damaged beyond use can be reused after proper repair.

Wet Wipes Recycling

Wet wipes scraps can be treated and sold to other manufacturers to make other non-hygienic products, making good use of resources.
