Provider management

Our company has passed the FSC-COC 2017 International Chain of Custody Certification, and we use forest-certified products as raw materials to minimize the impact on the environment and to ensure that the source of materials does not come from forests that violate trade or public rights, genetically-modified trees, or illegally cut down trees.

The Company has joined SEDEX (Suppliers Ethical Data Exchange), Sedex Advance is one of the global platforms for suppliers' ethical information exchange, which allows buyers, suppliers and auditors to conveniently store, share and report information on the supply chain, and the internal management shall comply with the following requirements:

  • Freedom of Choice in Employment Relationships
  • Respect for freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
  • Safe and hygienic working conditions
  • No child labor
  • Paying a living wage
  • Working hours must not be excessively long
  • Prohibition of discrimination
  • Formal Employment Relationship
  • Do not allow harsh and inhumane treatment of workers

In order to ensure that the quality meets the needs of our customers and the market, we stabilize the quality of our supplies through supplier selection and supply chain management.

Supplier Selection

In accordance with internal procurement-related internal control procedures and procurement practices, we conduct supplier evaluation, requiring suppliers to pass ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification, REACH Regulation chemical substance management measures, FSC COC forest chain of custody management system certification, etc., and sign a declaration agreeing to cooperate with the Company's requirements. The Company's new suppliers and suppliers in the cooperation evaluation, is to quality, price, service, speed as the main assessment items, in order to establish a qualified supplier system.  

Supply Chain Management

Every year, we conduct semi-annual assessment for the major suppliers with incoming goods, and the assessment focuses on quality, delivery, and cooperation. For example, the total number of raw material suppliers assessed by the Biotechnology Department in FY108 was 132. Regular annual exchanges with suppliers to meet new market demands, stabilize mutual cooperation intentions, convey quality requirements to improve and meet customer needs, and count raw material suppliers to ensure the source and quality. As a long-term partner, we will emphasize our demand for environmental protection and human rights regulations in order to implement corporate governance in the supply chain.
